Teledev's high performance Network is fast, reliable and scalable. It combines key components that are critical to the operation of a state-of-the-art Internet service: a high capacity backbone, a 24 hour Network Operations Center and superior engineering support services. The Teledev network has been engineered from the ground up to accommodate the high-availability demands of the Internet's most popular websites. The data center and network have been optimized for outsourcing and collocating web servers.

Teledev utilizes connections to multiple backbones to ensure that data reaches the end-user in the fastest, most efficient manner possible. We also have peering agreements with local ISPs to allow fast delivery of packets when possible. Internet connectivity in Cyprus: 2 mbps to CytaNET via fiber cable, 2 mbps to GlobalSoft/Cylink, 4 mbps direct to Internet Backbone. All connections are dedicated and are not shared. If extra bandwidth is needed it can be allocated quickly by using shared & dedicated satellite links (up to 34 Mbps).

Teledev runs the Border Gate Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing, ensuring the best and fastest connectivity to clients and immediate failover to backup lines. The BGP4 protocol is a standard that allows for the routing of packets of information sent out from the Teledev Network. Each packet of information is evaluated and sent over the best route possible. Because of our redundant network architecture, packets may be sent via alternative routes even if they are being delivered to the same end user. Should one of our providers fail, packets leaving our network are automatically redirected through another route via a different provider. Teledev is registered as an independent local Internet registry (LIR) with RIPE and can allocate blocks of IP addresses to customers.

Connecting our remote locations and providing the availability of our system in case of a local failure in one of the locations. Access to the ATM backbone is 34 MB.

Teledev is a "Cisco Powered Network" meaning Teledev uses only Cisco Systems Network gear. Redundant network components are used to ensure uptime and eliminate any single point of failure. The Teledev network is multi-homed through multiple redundant high-speed connections providing fast, reliable connectivity.

The Teledev Network currently has plenty of excess capacity, even during peak hours. This allows for us to accommodate even the largest spikes in traffic that are often associated with the most popular websites. We are always adding network connectivity and new routes in an effort to make sure content is delivered to your users as efficiently as possible. A low bandwidth utilization also allows for maximum uptime, even if one of our providers has an outage

Teledev has invested significantly in a variety of network security measures to ensure the safest transmissions of the confidential and sensitive communications over our network, avoid interruptions in service as a result of accidental or intentional actions from external parties and provide the highest level Security Services to it's customers. High level of security: traffic to servers is filtered via two 6-port PIX firewalls. Intrusion detection systems installed in both internal & external networks.
