Future ProspectsTeledev is actively involved in operation of networks and provision of communication services in Russia, Greece and Cyprus.

The Russian-CIS market is becoming both increasingly demanding and offering immense opportunities at the same time.
Great opportunities now exist in long distance voice and data transmission, a fast growing, highly profitable operation, where competition mainly stems from Rostelecom.
The Russian telecommunications market offers substantial growth potential in the medium term due to:

 The market size, with population of over 147mill people, being the largest addressable market in Europe.
 The vast underdevelopment of the telecom infrastructure.
 The very low penetration in all types of telecom services.
 The fast growing GDP and net household income.
 The basic services currently on offer.

Teledev has built a highly redundant, highly scalable network designed to meet the reliability, flexibility, and performance demands of modern enterprise and residential customers. Our network carries voice and data, enabling our customers to integrate their networks and use services over unified fibre and/or IP connections for maximum redundancy and service availability.

TeleDev is currently evaluating many new projects and business opportunities, to ensure their feasibility as well as commercial and financial viability and implementation capability.

New technologies based on common communications platforms as facilitated by the Internet Protocol (IP) are becoming dominant in global communication, because of the ability of these new router based services to offer users exceptional flexibility, choice of communications media (voice, data and imaging) and the extensive costs reductions brought about by more efficient use of physical assets (router/switches) and transmission capacity. Teledev makes full use of new wireline and wireless technologies to provide a broad range of new generation services to corporate and residential subscribers in Russia, Cyprus and Greece.

Large developments are currently being planned also in Cyprus and Greece where to facilitate the deployment of new generation services we have set out to implement a new broadband network utilizing both leased optical fibre capacity and wireless local loop technologies.

We are convinced that the availability of new generation services will change the way people work, communicate and by which information and entertainment is accessed.

Our business strategy is to provide customers with global converged communications services (voice, data and video) accessible through any type of terminal device (computers, video monitors, telephones etc) and network media so as to provide the customer maximum flexibility and choice of services. As networks converge into a single platform, the Company has incorporated services that place network control and management in the hands of customers, which is a key differentiator from the traditional telephone services model that many communications companies operate today.
