Teledev provides telephone services via its own digital telephone network using switching equipment produced by Nortel, based on transport SDH network.

Primary Rate Interface PRI

PRI access provides connection 30B+D which means 30 independent logical B-channels (64 Kb/s each) and one D-channel (also 64 Kb/s). This connection is used to interconnect PABX and digital telephone exchange.

Basic rate interface BRI

BRI access provides two B-channels 64 Kb/s each and one D-channel with the speed of 16 Kb/s (2B+D). This type of access was designed to provide the high speed digital connection able to transmit any type of voice, data, image, sounds and other digital technologies. This type of access allows connection of three terminals simultaneously. BRI connection is effected via 2 copper wires to provide the above specified services.

Additional services:

*Calling Line Identification Presentation: All calls received will record a telephone number of caller and date and time the call was made.
*Calling Line Identification Restriction: Enables the calling user to restrict presentation of its ISDN number to the caller.
*Terminal Portability: A call can be put on hold and then picked up on another ISDN terminal.
*Advice of Charge: Enables a caller to know the charge at the end of each call.
*PABX: Automatic distribution of incoming calls between several Basic access using one and the same telephone number.
*Direct In Dialing: Allows a caller to be connected directly to the telephone numbers (extensions) connected to PABX.
*Multiple Subscriber Numbers: Up to the eight telephone numbers can be used on the same access which can be allocated to different terminals, i.e. a telephone set, facsimile and PC.
